CONTENTS: Contents (1p.); 'Advertisement' from editor (1p.); poetic miscellany pp.[1]-60; prose 'Adventures of a Farthing' pp.61-67. OTHER NOTES: Most poems are by Ramsay but not directly attributed in the text. The 'advertisement' by 'The Editor' says that miscellany responds to taste for poetry 'in the North British Dialect', and that 'several' of the pieces have already appeared 'in the works of one of the most eminent Northern Bards' (i.e. Ramsay). Date of publication is approximate. Owner's name, dated 1783(?), on tp of ECCO copy.
