- Bibliographic details:
- Half title: THE | WORKS | OF | Mr. John Philips. BOD Vet A4 f. 2192 has plate between half-title and title. Miscellany is put together from a number of separately published pamphlets, including Bleinheim (by Hills) and Cyder. A Poem (1709, by Hills: this is also included in DMI as a separate pamphlet, see ESTC T34526 and T34527. BOD Vet A4 f. 2192 contains ESTC T34526, but it is not clear if all copies of this made-up miscellany use this version: some may use the other version. The 1714 version of Works of Philips (ESTC N25871, BOD Vet A4 e. 3491) contains ESTC T34527.) These separately published pamphlets have separate title pages, date of imprint, registers and pagination. Ode Ad Henricum St John is dated 1713; Bleinheim 1709; Cyder et al 1709. Mispagination: In Bleinheim, p. 5 misnumbered as p. 4, 9 as 10. The ECCO copy appears to have pages in the wrong place: in 'Cyder' pp. 5-12 seem to be missing and have been replaced with the corresponding pages from Bleinheim.
