Attributions: Attributions 'in this miscellany' have been taken from the title page, i.e. the 'forty select poems' are treated as the work of 'The Earl of H*******n', and The Duke of Argyle's Levee as the work of Binning. However, Suarez notes that ''The Duke of Argyle's levee' [is] said to have been written by Joseph Mitchell. Foxon indicates that several of the poems are by other hands; Foxon, p. 324'. Query: most of the verse in this collection had previously been published in T139061 - should this be entered too?
Other matter:
Prefatory matter: Contents [2pp.].
