- Place of Publication:
- London

- Made-up miscellany and Political miscellany
- Format:
- Octavo
- Price:
- 2 s. stitcht, 2 s. 6 d. bound.
- Pagination:
- [10] 3-44, 3-40, 3-36, 3-40.
- Bibliographic details:
- This is a made up miscellany, a reissue of the four parts of 'A Collection of Poems for and against Dr. Sacheverell' (T60, T61, T62, T63) with a new title page, preface (itself a reissue of the same preface used in T116470 and T177552), and contents page. There has been an error in the binding of the Bod copy, so that part 2 (T61) begins the volume, followed by part 1 (T60) - a quick look at the contents page confirms that this is a binding error. The quire (Sigs. F-[F2v]) following the 'first part' (normally the second, T61) is an addition. In T116470 and T177552 it follows the fourth parts (T63) but the similarity of pagination and signatures in all the Sacheverell volumes makes it particularly mobile. The prose section of part 3, pp. 37-40, has been omitted. Folger copy: bookplate with motto "Honi Soit Qui Mal Y Pense." Folger copy: page facing contents has coat of arms with motto "Nec Temere Nec Timide" and name "Sr Clement Cottrell Kt. | Master of the Ceremonyes." - see ODNB Sir Clement Cottrell (16861758): doi:10.1093/ref:odnb/6399 Page 17 (first section) in Folger copy is erroneously numbered 71.
- Comments:
- QUERY: Neither of the Oxford copies (Bod and Worcester) of T178177 match the estc description - they both only have three parts instead of four and they are both misbound in different ways. Page 17 (first section) in Folger copy is erroneously numbered 71. Page 31 (third section - here, 231) in Folger copy is erroneously numbered 33. pp.37-40 in second part (here, 137-140) are prose. pp. 37-40 in third part (here, 237-240) are prose. Pages 37-40 in fourth part (here, 337-340) are prose.
- Other matter:
- Folger Copy: Catalog page facing title page lists "BOOKS lately printed for E. CURLL."
