Bibliographic details:
Half-title: [ornamental rule] | ANCIENT SCOTTISH POEMS. | Published from the MS. of | GEORGE BANNATYNE, | MDLXVIII. | [ornamental rule] There are two, typographically different editions of this title dated 1770. Though there are two ESTC numbers T95127, referring to a 12mo ed, and T221069 to an 8vo ed, all but two copies listed in the ESTC have been matched to T95127. In some cases this is likely to be an error: e.g. the copy from the Bodleian on google books (Malone B. 304) is different to the copies from Princeton on google books and TCD on ECCO, yet copies from all three libraries are matched to the same record.
Other matter:
Prefatory matter: Preface pp. [v]-x; Contents pp. [xi]-xii. End matter: Notes on the preceding poems pp. 223-316; A Glossary pp. [317]-328; Passages not understood pp. [329]-330; Words not understood [1p]; Errata [1p].
